You see the writing on the wall. The risks of relying on Chinese OEM/ODM manufacturers for your security camera brand are becoming unacceptable. But the thought of switching suppliers—a process that could take years and cost a fortune—is paralyzing. It doesn't have to be.
With a dedicated non-Chinese manufacturing partner like Adiance, you can migrate your entire product line from a Chinese-SoC-based OEM to a non-Chinese-SoC platform in as little as 90 days. Here is the 5-step plan.
Step 1: Product Line Mapping (Days 1-15)
The first step is to map your existing product line to a new set of non-Chinese components. You provide us with the spec sheets for your current cameras (e.g., 2MP dome, 5MP bullet, 4K PTZ). Our engineering team will then propose equivalent or superior models from our portfolio of 35+ cameras built on Qualcomm, Ambarella, and Novatek SoCs.
Deliverable: A detailed Product Line Proposal matching your existing SKUs to new, non-Chinese Adiance models with full specifications and pricing.
Step 2: Sample Evaluation & Firmware Branding (Days 15-45)
Once you approve the product map, we ship you evaluation samples of the new cameras. While your team tests the hardware, our firmware team gets to work. We take your existing brand assets—logos, color schemes, company name—and integrate them into the camera firmware, boot screens, and web interface.
Deliverable: Physical camera samples for testing. A custom-branded firmware build for your approval.
Step 3: VMS & App Integration (Days 30-60)
A critical part of the migration is ensuring the new cameras work seamlessly with your existing Video Management System (VMS) and mobile apps. Adiance cameras are ONVIF Profile S, G, and T conformant, ensuring broad compatibility. For deeper integration, we provide a full API/SDK and dedicated engineering support. If you need a full solution, we can white-label our ArcisAI Cloud VMS and mobile apps under your brand.
Deliverable: Successful integration of Adiance cameras with your VMS. Or, a fully white-labeled VMS and mobile app.
Step 4: Pilot Production & Packaging (Days 45-75)
After firmware and integration are approved, we begin a pilot production run (typically 50-100 units). This allows us to finalize the manufacturing process and quality control procedures for your specific products. In parallel, we work with you to design and produce custom packaging with your branding.
Deliverable: First batch of production-quality cameras. Finalized custom packaging design.
Step 5: Volume Production & Shipment (Days 75-90)
With all approvals in place, we move to volume production. Our facility in Ahmedabad, India, can scale to produce over 10,000 cameras per month. We handle all logistics, including DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping to your warehouse in the US, EU, or Middle East.
Deliverable: Your first volume order of non-Chinese, NDAA-compliant, custom-branded security cameras, delivered to your door.
Switching manufacturers is a major strategic decision, but it doesn't have to be a multi-year ordeal. With a focused plan and a capable partner, you can de-risk your supply chain and position your brand for growth in the new era of secure, non-Chinese surveillance technology.
